Animal ID - Our Company
Animal ID designs and implements DNA testing services for livestock shows. The service helps to track animals’ identity and in turn deter fraud and mitigate risk to the shows. Prize winning purses can be very significant…thousands, tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our goal is to create a solution using our ShowTRAK™ system to help ensure integrity in the show ring.
Our IDTRAK™ system is a DNA banking system designed for livestock owners to keep a historical record. When combined with production and reproduction data, this can become an important tool for improving the quality of your herd over time.

Randy Ingram, President & CEO
Randy has held senior management roles with major agricultural life science companies for over fifteen years. These experiences include the use of DNA markers in plant genetic applications for over a decade. He was raised in central Iowa.
Greg Peters, V.P. of Sales and Marketing
Greg grew up on a family cattle ranch in Nebraska, where he participated in FFA and livestock judging and has advanced degrees in genetics and business from Texas A&M University.
Susan Tanksley, Ph.D, V.P. of Technical Services
Susan grew up on a family ranch in Texas. She was a member of both 4-H and FFA and participated in junior livestock shows. She earned a Ph.D. in Genetics from Texas A&M University and has been involved in designing and implementing animal DNA testing programs for several years.
